The Amazing Love Ministries foray into education started in the 80s through the Solid Foundation Classes (SFC), an extra mural for pupils in primary and secondary who were children of both members and non-members. They were taught by dedicated and qualified Christian teachers. Many of these pupils gained admission into the higher institution through these classes.
When government decree displaced many civil servants from active civil service, the Amazing Love Ministries established the Education Rehabilitation Fund (ERF) to assist them psychologically and financially.
Through the award of scholarships and other forms of assistance, the ERF also ensured that members (non-members) were not denied access to education at all levels. It provided a very vital lifeline for crucial assistance to those affected.
The proclamation for the establishment of the Amazing Love International Schools was made by Bishop Dr. A. O. Nwachukwu on Sunday, 4th March 2012, when he also made call for those who have the burden to carry the vision along with him. Nine members of the church rose to the challenge, and together with the bishop they became the
Interim Committee of the establishment of the school. The Lord moved tremendously beyond our comprehension, and the grace He said was available for the takeoff of the school. That act of faith was rewarded by God. Today we behold His glory. The ground breaking ceremony was carried out on Saturday, 2nd February, 2013, after which construction started in earnest. By the grace of God, on 7th October 2013, the school was formally opened to our children who became the pioneers of the school. To the glory of God, we held our first graduation ceremony on Tuesday, 22nd July 2014.

The school site has a large acreage in the exclusive Emene Industrial Layout Extension complimented with a beautiful landscape. The surrounding country offers a lot to those interested in natural history and archaeology.
The school motto is Jesus is Lord, recognizing that it is in Him we live and move and have our being. Knowing also that the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases and his mercies never come to an end (Lamentations 3:22-23), this is in a nutshell the foundation of the school.
